Welcome to the PurpleBanana.AI Pack, hopefully you have read the About page first and undestand what will and will not be here. Just to reiterate, Hate is a Virus. I will say that over and over again, and while our right to free speach as Americans is numero uno, which includes hate speach according to our laws and constituion, that also means I have the right to say it does not belong here on my site. So just because it has been allowed to creep back into our system the last few years, it will not be spread or tolerated here.

Never forget the hidden human spirit behind the concept of "Don't Tread on Me", it also means "I Won't Tread on You", pick your analogy, if the golden rule resonates more, than think of it as "Don't do onto others, as you would not not like done upon yourself". While I absolutely despise the concept of Fairness, I whole heartedly believe in the concept of Equity. Unfortunately, much like other terms, this word or in this case, the concept itself is being used to help divide us, which will talk about in depth as we dig deeper.

So let's start with the basics, Equity is the quality of being fair and impartial. Fairness is the quality of making judgments that are free from discrimination. The difference is subtle, but important. Fairness is about treating everyone the same, while equity is about recognizing that different people have different needs and circumstances, and treating them accordingly. The best way to describe this is with a picture, and I prefer the step-stool and fence idea. While I am going to use AI, or more specifically ComfyUI to generate this image, it is not an original thought of mine and I feel obligated to call that out as part of my moral compass.
