Why One Source is Never a Good Idea
In simple terms, web sources, media sources, and most institutions really don't care about you, sorry but that is life, welcome to the world of quarterly profits, doom scrolling and psychological engagement. We are the product now, and we are traded one click, one scroll, and even sometimes just one glance at a time. I encourage you to do some independent research into data brokers, more specifically, the roughly 16 companies you most likely have never heard of. These companies are on just about every device you have, use, or just happen to be near. Don't believe me? Grab a tool such as DuckDuckGo's application blocker, or add an extension to your browser like uBlock or adGaurd and see what data about you is being sent from and to.

Here is the other problem, if you only use one device, and one search engine, your view of the world is going to be very narrow, sorry, it is just reality. This is not just about what you are advertised, its about what you see, hear and what is presented to you when do a search. If you are a hardcore MAGA supporter or a hardcore BOBO, then your search results will be tailored to your world view only. Even if you deliberately search for something to see if its true, your results will make sure that the information you receive is prioritized to reinforce the narrative that you and the algorthm has built for you. This is not some conspiracy, it just the way the algorthm naturally evolved in our broken thinking. I really do not like knowing it, let alone now seeing it all the time, I genuinely want to go back and take the red pill instead.
